Preliminary aerodynamic analysis of remotely controlled model with jet propulsion

This bachelor´s thesis deals with aerodynamic analysis of unmanned aircraft and subsequent changes to design of wing, its position and wing-fuselage junction. In this work emphasis is laid on flow separation, its interaction with other flow structures and its influence on aerodynamic properties. The goal of these changes to the aircraft is ensuring sufficient stability and controllability in low as well as high angle of attack flight. AVL, XFLR5 and CFD methods were used in the thesis. In case of inaccuracy of CFD calculation, two backup wing related modifications were prepared.

The influence of listening to music on the spirituality of today´s adolescents

This bachelor thesis deals with the research question of the effect of listening to music on the spirituality of today's adolescents. The aim of this work is to focus on the concept of spirituality from a religious, secular, psychological and sociological point of view and to find out how music affects the spirituality of today's youth through the qualitative research. The theoretical part describes the concepts of spirituality, adolescence, emotional development of adolescents, mentions the developmental theory of the German psychologist Erik Erikson, also deals with the interests of today's adolescents, then includes information about music as a creative act. The practical part is focused on a detailed description of the course and evaluation of the qualitative research, where the main question is how Czech adolescents experience listening to music. The research is based on the qualitative analysis of data obtained through a semi-structured interview, evaluated by the using of grounded theory. The research pointed to listening to music as an experience that detaches the adolescent from reality and brings him peace. They also defined a spiritual experience by detachment from the reality.

The view of the Christian asceticism and its significance for spiritual life by St. Teresa of Jesus

The purpose of the work is to introduce the conception of the Christian asceticism and its significance for spiritual life by St. Teresa of Jesus. The work is defined by three main writings of St. Teresa: The Book of Life, The Way of Perfection and The Internal Castle. The subject analysis is the Teresa's life, intellectual reflection and her specific advices. The following areas structure the scheme of the work: Teresa's ascetic formation, ascetic reform program and Teresean asceticism prayer. The differentiation of active and passive asceticism and its presence in her writings has been established as the theoretical base of the whole work. This methodology is used to analyse Teresa's expressions of spiritual life and her science. The ascetic formation is followed in her two living stages, firstly before entering the Monastery of the Incarnation and then at the Monastery of the Incarnation. The ascetic program of reform presents Teresean triada which includes love of neighbour, detachment and humility. The last part of the work deals with Teresean asceticism prayer, where the basic aspects of her prayer are introduced. Influence of nannies on the overall development of the ward

Dissertation thesis summary: Influence of nannies on the overall development of the ward This dissertation thesis deals with the topic of child minding by an alternative caregiver, the so-called nanny. Its target is to broadly examine and describe the issue, with emphasis on defined aspects. The presented theoretical-research work covers existing institutions and services for child care in both Czech Republic and abroad. It primarily strives, however, to capture the essence of motherhood from psychological, philosophical and genetic points of view. This effort takes into consideration the question of separation, and consequently traumatization in childhood. A significant part of the paper concentrates on the area of education of the child care providing persons. The research chapters focus on the influence of the nanny not only on the child, but also on the family atmosphere and the educational stances of the parents. It further deals with the position of the nanny within the family, and with bounds of the child-nanny relationship. The output of the work is then a practical handbook, a manual with specifically defined content of an educational program (for nanny-position aspirants and for already practicing professionals). Hana Benešová Skrze touhy profánní k touze po věčnosti. Abstrakt V sekulární společnosti není touha po Bohu častým tématem reflexe. Avšak právě ona vede k lidskému naplnění a integritě. Tato práce zkoumá touhu po Bohu skrze poznání profánních tužeb a jejich nedostatečnosti. Prostřednictvím tohoto poznání je jim dáno správné místo v Augustinově konceptu řádu lásky (ordo amoris). Příkladem tohoto procesu transformace tužeb jsou také Augustinovy reflexe nad ztrátou jeho milovaných příbuzných a přátel prizmatem věčnosti a poznání, že v Bohu není nikdo ztracen. Pro upřesnění a pochopení průběhu přeměny vnímání tužeb je použita fenomenologická metoda. Podrobně je popsán pohyb a odstup jakožto důležité součásti percepční změny. Rovněž je zkoumáno téma ženské spirituality v kontextu touhy. Práce se proto zaměřuje na snahu ženy osvobodit se od toho, co je dočasné, aby se otevřela bezpodmínečné lásce a sama takovou láskou milovala. Objevování touhy po Bohu prostřednictvím uvědomování si pomíjivosti profánních tužeb a jejich neschopnosti uspokojit nepokojné srdce může být důležitým úkolem pro další bádání v oblasti spirituální teologie.

Detachment and Emptiness of the Tao-Te-Ching and Master Eckart

Site: Neratov Year of solving: 2013 Pages: 120 This diploma thesis is divided into five chapters. The first one deals with goals and methods of the work and the fifth chapter is the conclusion. The theme itself is divided into three chapters: (2) theme of detachment in the Tao Te Ching, (3) theme of detachment by Meister Eckhart, (4) comparison of the detachment in the Tao Te Ching and in the works of Meister Eckhart. The first part is concerned with the character of Laozi, the book of Tao Te Ching and its position in the Taoist canon. Then the basic terms of the Tao Te Ching, Tao, wu-wei and sameness, are examined. Consequently, the necessary analyses, which is interspersed with numerous citations from the Tao Te Ching and also from the secondary literature, follows to approach the topic "detachment in the Tao Te Ching". In the end, I briefly outline, how the idea of detachment has been devepoled in Taoist praxis from the very beginning up to the present time.
